Bellingen is a small town (pop 2,721) on Waterfall Way on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

horizontal break

It is approximately halfway between the major Australian cities of Sydney and Brisbane. It is the heart of Bellingen Shire which contains a mixture of valley, plateau and coastal environments.

Bellingen Shire is a place of scenic beauty – with national parks, productive farming lands, and stunning beaches.

We are fortunate that the region has a diverse, creative, and innovative community. Local festivals include the Bellingen Jazz and Blues Festival, Global Festival, the Readers and Writers festival, Camp Creative, Bellingen River festival, Toast Urunga, Dorrigo Blue Grass Festival and others. Bellingen also has monthly community markets to rival any on the North Coast.
